"What if it doesn't come true? Ah, but what if it does?"
I truly love that quote because it simply teaches how to stop doubting yourself.
Understanding your goal(s). You should have a clear vision of your goal(s) and understand why the goal is important to you.
Make a list. List those goals that you want to achieve. This will better help you to achieve them of course, because you'll know what they are!
Set goals that motivate you! If you set a goal that motivates you, you'll be more driven to achieve them. Set them high but start will smaller goals first.
Prepare. Understand that there may be a lot of hardships you're going to endure when it comes to achieve your goal. There will be times that you will want to call it quits, therefore, you will have to mentally prepare yourself for this. It is imperative that you get yourself together mentally so you can come out on top at the end of this journey.
Planning is key! One reason why we don't know where to when it comes to putting in the actions to achieve our goals. Planning is going to really help understand the steps that must be taken to get reach these goals. If you don't have a journal for planning, it is very important that you get one.
Don't listen to what others have to say. Lets be honest, when you let the negative words of others get to you, it tends to make you steer away from what you really want to do. I know I have. Try to watch motivational videos on YouTube. It can really get you going.
Log your performance. When you log your performance, it gets you motivated and makes you want to keep going. When the going gets tough, you'll be reminded of how far you came.
Put in the effort/work. There are some people that has this mindset that if they sit and do nothing, their goals will magically become achieved which is not true. You have to put in the work! This doesn't mean you have to over work yourself. Just do it one step at a time. For example, if your goal is to lose weight, start off small. Do like 1ike 10 sets of everything, then once you are comfortable, pick up the pace. What I'm saying is move at your own pace. Don't put too much work on yourself at once.
