The Perfect New Year Resolutions for 2020 - 15 New Year Resolution Ideas






Happy New Years!

May this year bring you plenty of good vibes and nothing but the best!




1. Stop negative self talk.


Talking negatively on yourself or others isn't the way to go. You attract what you speak, spread positivity.



2. Spend time away from all electronics.


Pick a day or two out of every month where you put down your electronics for 24 hours. Take time to appreciate what's around you.



3.  Try a new hangout spot.


There's nothing like your favorite 'kick it' spot, however, you never know what amazing memories you can make at a new place.



4. Pay down your debt.


It doesn't matter how big or small the amount is, put some money towards your debt every month. After all, it all adds up.



5. Practice self-care.


Self-care is super important. I feel like if you don't incorporate self-care int your life, you're lost.


6. 'Don't put all your eggs into one basket'


This is one of the best things I've heard by far. If you don't understand what this means, it just simply means don't dedicate your all to just ONE thing.


For example, you know that you don't want to financially struggle, right?

You could do different things and have multiple sources of income instead of just depending on one thing to help you.

7. Cook something new every month!


Trying new meals that you've never tried before can open your world up to great things. I swore up and down that I didn't like shrimp and grits until I actually cooked them and tried them. With apps like Tasty, you can try different recipes all for FREE! Download the app today!


8. Stop MULTITASKING! 


Yeah, you may want to try and get so many things done in one rip but, honestly, it stresses you out. Just don't do it for the sake of your mental health, okay?


9. Try a new hobby.


Don't spend your life being bored! Get out and do something! You'll regret it if you don't.


10. Meditate. 


Incorporating meditation into your life helps you focus more and stress less. If you know nothing about meditation, I've linked a book to help you get started. 

Since I've started meditating, life has been so much easier.

Try to meditate daily.  I could be for 5 to 20 minutes.


11.  Recycle.

You've probably haven't heard this one yet. Take better care of the planet by recycling and not littering either!


12. Start a new tradition.

Okay, old traditions are the best, but creating new ones could be quite fun as well.

You can pass your new traditions down to your younger is siblings or children .


13. Make a new friend.

I don't know how many times I've heard the saying "no new friends" but that's the problem. People are so caught up in not hanging with new people, however, you might end up having a great time.


14. Stop being desperate.

Let's be honest, desperation isn't a good look, it gets you no where. The energy of desperation doesn't really attract positive things.


15. Get things done!

Every new year we come up with the same resolutions from the previous year. Let's face, that cycle gets old. Spend 2020 getting things done.

  4. I try not to make such resolutions because then you experience a lot of stress when you can’t execute them, so you need to plan more realistically.
